Welcome to Her Career Coach - this is a unique and special place for working women to come together and share your personal stories and advice!
Being a career woman in today’s world is becoming more complex. Society has become increasingly more accepting of women in the workplace and is promoting us to higher paying jobs – but not the top jobs. Only 2% of Fortune 500 companies have female CEOs while we have surpassed men in the middle management layers. We are graduating with bachelors and masters degrees at higher rates than men today so what is happening here? Why can’t we break through to the top? Or maybe the real question is – do we want to?

I have 10+ years experience as a marketer and strategist. I have spent the majority of my career in Brand Management and have learned a lot along the way. I also have spent a lot of my personal time coaching friends and family on their careers. I have a deep passion and skill for helping others succeed in their career and would love to help you out as well!
I recently launched my own business - www.Fashion-Hound.com - where you can create your own custom-designed, made-to-order, hand-sewn dog collars and leas

Sure she is torn by being away from her children and all of the preparation that goes into making everything run smoothly while she is away, but the truth is that she enjoys a bit of "me time" every now and then.
When preparing for your next interview, be sure to read the job description carefully and use it to help you gain a better understanding of exactly what they are looking for in the ideal candidate. Be sure to work the ways that you meet their needs into the conversation with each interviewer. This will make you look highly qualified and also like you really prepared for the interview - a sure fire combo for knocking 'em dead at the interview and moving one step closer to the job!
