What a Difference a Year Makes

So, it has been a LONG time since I have written my blog but today I received an email from one of my readers and it gave me chills! She reminded me of all the reasons that I started this blog and inspired me to write again. Thanks Carly and I will be in touch directly soon - we must meet soon!

Since I last posted, so much has changed.

To start with, I left a job that I was not happy with for greener pastures which surprisingly turned out to be much greener indeed! I have been at Wildfire, LLC, a smaller, more entrepreneurial marketing communications company here in Winston-Salem (www.wildfireideas.com). I have been here almost a year and a half and could not be happier as the Account Director on three pieces of very interesting and diverse business - Salem Baking Company (http://www.SalemBaking.com), HanesBrands (www.Hanes.com) and Microban (www.Microban.com).

I am also now a very happily married woman as of September 2008 when I wed the love of my life, Alex Schenker! We met in Los Angeles, CA, 6.5 years ago and after following a couple divergent paths have ended up happily together here in NC. Alex continues to run his web development company, Contract Web Development which has been very successful, even in these crazy economic times.

We still have our crazy dogs - Domino the Dalmatian and Storm the Black Lab mix - who keep us smiling every day!

Enough with the personal update but thought I would start here and then post something more directed to the content of this site in a few days. You gotta start somewhere though!
